Founded on March 13, 2007 [5], CCTV Animation Group is a wholly state-owned enterprise fully invested by CCTV and has produced a number of domestic animation masterpieces such as "Journey to the West", "The Legend of Nezha", "The Adventures of Little Carp", "Happy Dad and Son", and "Panda and Little Mole". The main business includes original animation production, animation copyright management and development, new media business, derivatives market expansion, long-term strategic interest community. It aims to promote brand building and operation, promote the original core competitiveness, and complete the construction of the animation industry chain. On January 5, 2020, CCTV Animation Group affiliated to China Media Group was officially inaugurated in Beijing on the basis of the former CCTV Animation Co., Ltd., pooling relevant resources of CCTV. The establishment of CCTV Animation Group marks the all-around and in-depth industrial upgrading of China Media Group in the animation field.
